A walk in the forest

I upgraded from the D70 to the D7000 four months ago. I'll admit it was (still is) a steep learning curve and was initially disappointed with the results. Reading these forums was one of the reasons that made me keep at it, and lately I've been happier with the outcome.

These are from a walk in the forest with my 5 yr old son (which means no tripod if I don't want to lose him forever). All with the D7000 and the 35mm 1.8g, processed in Capture.

The new camera has renewed my interest and I am looking forward to putting more time into photography. I'd be very happy to hear any CC you might have, especially regarding composition and processing.
