Camera for toddlers, Nikon 1 experience? Care to share your wisdom?

Can only provide some input - example = photographing twin boys age 14mos over the weekend. D5100 versus V1 (same focus system).

Outdoors - tie. The V1 is a tad slower in working but that's only due to the forced image review (even a 1/2 press take a blink). V1 is far better @ movies, the D5100 CDAF is too slow.

Indoors - D5100 by good margin. Combined with an 35/1.8 it doesn't slow down, fast as it is outdoors. V1 is much slower (switched to CDAF) even with a 10/f2.8.

I'd also agree with above the Oly is way over priced (like the V1 was & the V2 now is) - it offers little over the V1 and nothing over the D5100........both of which are far cheaper than the Oly.
