Hello, do you think you could post 100% crops from the bush/pole area with shadow lifting only, the same amount for both cameras? I know you provided RAWs for download but I have no software which can work with them, I shoot only JPEGs.
BTW how do you find the D600 kit lens? Is it usable? According to MTF graphs it should be pretty soft at wide end in corners, does it improve when you stop it down?

5D3 definitely looks uglier with vertical banding and more noise, although none is perfect.

I don't think this much shadow lifting was needed for this scene and none is perfect. All sensors need to do better, Canon definitely does.
