Leica girls from the 1960's
Oct 30, 2012

All of these images are from the mid to late 1960's with may favourite subjects of lovely ladies. The camera was usually an M2, 50mm Summicron, 90mm 2.8 Elmarit. Except for the first image, all were shot in Vancouver - usually at the beach, but a couple were in my flat.

The first image is the 1962 frosh queen for the University of Calgary - I was in first year as well at the UofC. The shot is taken at my parents house - with the room tri-lite provide some hair light and a 200 w tungsten bulb for the main shooting Tri-x. The lady was first year frosh queen and  was the Calgary contestant for Miss Canada that year and came in second.
