Thanks for your kind reply Rich. In fact, if i were in the US i would probably not worry about this issue at all, since you have ways getting your stuff easily to Nikon service. But since i'm an international customer, its just not practical for me to gamble buying such an expensive piece of kit knowing that there ARE issues with the product...
