Bought the pair(Nex7 + Zeiss 24) after borrowing for a street session - they seem made for each other.

Initially was a bit concerned about the weight and bulk but now don't ever think twice. AF is good enough with practice. At f3.5 the centre gets sharp and by f5.6 it's just about perfect for bringing attention to the central area which is what I want for street work. At f8 overall sharpness and broken begin to converge such that distant details can get a bit average...I would never use this lens for landscapes. It's pretty flare resistant at all apertures.

Colours are subjective but profiles for this lens are out there that will ape the Canon combo. Some have expressed concern over QC but mine is mechanically very good. Overall, it's destined to be a favourite.
