How to prevent adjustment made in camera raw from showing in adobe bridge?
Oct 30, 2012

Hello,

Is there a way to set up Bridge CS5 preferences so that it ignores the xmp file when displaying RAW files? I would like to be able to browse through my photos in their original RAW form (NEF files) even after some work was done in ACR.

What happens now is that any changes applied in ACR show up in Bridge. I'm trying to prevent that from happening. But obviously I do not want to get rid of the xmp file.

After processing (both ACR and Photoshop) I always save images as psd and mark them edit.

If not then is this something LR is capable of doing? I'm trying to switch from iphoto to bridge or LR so I'm testing both at the moment.

Thanks in advance!

JK
