Olympus omd-e-5 macro indication 12-50 lense?

Any idea if this is true on a Panny body (gh2)?  I have not seen the words 'Macro' appear, and it doesn't seem like it would (via common sense)..  It might be that i'm screwing it up.  It can 'close focus', but does the lens loose it's, uh, 'other' 'macro' capability when shooting on a Panny body?
