which NEX camera for travelling?

Hi all, not a regular poster.

I've got a year of travel ahead if me and I have maxed what I can do with my lumix TZ7 which has served me well.

I want to get into photography as a hobby.

I refuseto take an SLR up a mountain.

The pics from the NEX have blown my mind, I am not considering other brands at this time.

Budget...well I get uneasy thinking about more than £600 for the camera and kit lens.

The 5N is £400 with the 16mm and kit zoom which is great.

However with no experience of manual focusing I see the 5R has hybrid AF as does the new NEX 6.

I have no experience with view finders.

The NEX 6 seems expensive at launch but love the fact the lens is more compact.

I know of the Zeiss 24mm prime (what does prime mean) and my end goal would be good enough to justify buying one one day.

Should I wait for the 6 to come down in price or get a 5N at a stonking price?
