Get hold of a copy of "A Better Finder Attributes" with this you can set it so it makes the 'Date Created" the same as the EXIF info.

Thanks. I'm not sure how FAT32 plays into this, since the photos were directly imported from the camera using Canon's utility, i.e. I didn't copy them from my PC.
I'll take a look at Better Finder Attributes.
