Had a play with one this afternoon to see what the AF was like.

There are two modes, focus & shoot with the touch screen or using the shutter button.

Using the touch screen and the 18-55 lens the AF is quite quick - certainly quicker than the G12 or G1 X.

The 22mm is noticeably slower to focus - similar to the G1 X in good light.

I suspect the larger body of the 18-55 lens allows a faster motor or gearing than the 22mm. The 22mm motor sounds slower when it is trying to focus.

Turn off the touchscreen focus and use the shutter button and it's a whole different story - it's really really slow with both lenses (although the 18-55 is still faster).

This was using auto mode so the AF might speed up if you change the focus area size - I didn't have time to try all the options.

They didn't have the adaptor so I couldn't test with an EF lens.
