D800 - Nikon 14-24mm or Zeiss 21mm

What are your current recommendations. The lens will be for landscapes and group people shots.

I have never used a Zeiss manual lens on a Nikon before. Is it a hassle to gain focus?

As an alternative which is the sharpest Nikon wide prime to use on the D800?
