Winners for Mini Challenge #364 – Action Photography

You made this a very tough challenge to judge. I probably could have chosen a dozen photos or more for the top 3 places, and no one could really argue.

I went back to my original judging criteria: composition, use of light & lighting, and impact on the viewer.

With that in mind, here are my selections:

In reverse order, the top 3 are:

3rd place, for just an outstanding silhouette with the pelican against a sunset, Tony’s #2

2nd place, for the happiest shot of all, and one that makes me smile, Gail’s #2

1st place, is that mid-air tangle of beaks, feet, and wings, which was captured with everything lit very well, Bob’s #3
