Desktop background in Windows 7

Is there a way to make a plain gray color background for the desktop in Windows 7?  I had one, but when I opened an attached e-mail image it changed to it.  I would like a plain gray-colored desktop which one could easily choose with the older versions on Windows, like XP and Vista, by right clicking on the desktop and choosing "Personalize" and then desktop background and then solid color.  I do not see this in Windows 7, but instead a choice of annoying photos for the desktop.
