What i would do is leave it in distilled water, pure distilled water does not conduct electricity only the dissolved minerals in it. All electronic contacts has a very small amount of gold so those points would never erode so don't worry about that. Problem could be the copper of like wires which can erode with electricity.
After soaking in distilled water after a couple of times, leave it in a oven with low temperature. You can find in the manual what your camera can handle. Water will even evaporate at 30°C it just takes longer. After the oven put it in a closed bucket/sack of rice. Rice is highly water absorbent so there will be a very dry climate in your closed bucket. Leave it there for a very long time.
Don't know if that can be done with your lens.
