Dye ink prints: behind glass vs ???

Although many consider it a pita to do, any of my dye prints that are worth hanging I spray with a gloss/matte fixative from Krylon, Premiere Arts, or others. The print will now last as long as pigment pretty much, mileage may vary of course.
