x-pro 1 frustrations

As much as I want to like the x-pro 1, I'm finding using it rather frustrating.

1 - Locking on to focus in any marginal lighting condition is horribly hit and miss, which significantly hampers low light shooting.

2 - The green focus box in the OVF is not a reliable indicator of where the camera is actually focusing.  This really sucks because when you actually lock on to the subject at close range, you cannot really trust that you're focusing where you want to.

I know, I can use the EVF, but what's the point of this whole hybrid OVF system if you have to keep switching to the EVF?
