D3200 Which battery grip?

I had a camera [D80] die and needed an immediatel replacement as my back up was not adequate as a primary camera.

So, after some study I decided on a D3200 and purchased it, used it at a wedding and football game and many otheer situations. it has preformed very well.

However, I am now 59 and find after a few dozen "vertically oriented shots my wrist hurts; additionally, my hand does not seem to fit right for normally oriented shots [too large and my thumb changes the focus point from the chosen too often].

I believe a battery grip will help both situations since I have used them in the past.

I have not found one from Nikon but one from Travor and one from Meike and there may be others.

Do any of you have expirience with either or both of these units or other suggestions.

PS what is a decoding battery?
