Capture One Pro v7

I bought Capture One 6 on 20th September (last month) and when I opened it this morning got an upgrade notice showing 7.0.

So I followed the procedure, it downloaded very quickly and simply (I'm in the UK and it was first thing Sunday morning), and now have Capture One 6 and 7 installed (two icons on Windows 7)

When I go into Capture One 7 it takes me to the Activate page. So I put the activation code I got on 20th September and it says in green it's a valid Capture One Pro code. It then asks me to log to show profile, then to press the activate key, and when I press it I get the message in red saying 'RUN DIAGNOSTICS no more free upgrades available for this licence code'.

Does this mean I need to pay for an upgrade, so effectively the update prompted when I open Capture One 6 isn't free?

I suspect this is probably the case, but am checking that I've got it set up properly, and that there wasn't a different way of setting it up via Capture One 6 or something.
