Nope. What you're experiencing is typical. About .7 to one stop underexposed on RAW. I've turned off the blinkies on he LCD and have exposure comp at +.7 as standard. Many reporting the exact behavior.

FYI, I only use PP5.4 to open RAWs w/ no sharpening & no NR OR any other adjustments. I export as 16 bit tiff & process in Lightroom 4.2 & PS CS6.   WB, color correction, sharpening etc. much more robust and non destructive in LR.
