Yes, the G5 has both electronic shutter and very effective AFC with the 100-300, and even better with the 75-300.

The best solution for the OP is to get a G5 or GH3 with the 75-300 for BIF, and keep the 300/4 + 1.4 for use on a tripod with stationary birds or other subjects, using the G5  for its vibration free electronic shutter.
