Thinking of switching from M43 to NEX

I switched from m43 to NEX about a year ago.  I had about 5 different m43 cameras starting with the E-P1 and ending with the GH2.  Admittedly I did not have the ones with the newer Sony sensor.  I can say I found a significant difference, not just in resolution but in other areas:  High ISO output, and to me most important wider dynamic range.  That made a big difference.  The other main reason was to use legacy MF lenses.  Focus peaking makes a huge difference.

I had the 5n and now use the 7.  The differences between the two are not great, but I would contend that the 7 has better IQ, and at higher ISO there is not much difference if you resize to the same size.  After all that is how you compare a print or web image, both at say 13x19, not 100 versus 70 per cent.  I also like the ergonomics of the 7 better and the built-in EVF.  Those are personal preferences, however.   All that said, both are great cameras, and if you can get the deal on the 5n buy it; it will be worth it.
