I downloaded a trial copy of Pluraleyes several months ago and played with it for a while. I was very impressed with the way it matched up the camera and external soundtracks. If I recall correctly the end result was a soundtrack truncated and aligned to the given video track. This made dropping them into Premiere a breeze.
Although impressive, it was not what I was hoping for. I had a long running recording during which I shot a number of video clips. I did not want to truncate anything, I just wanted to position the video clips in Premiere so that they aligned with the soundtrack.
Was I missing something? Is this a 'manual' only kind of editing?
I still may purchase Pluraleyes when the specific need arrives that matches its capabilities.
