E-5 plus 90-250: this evening's bird catch

Hi,

I have always enjoyed your expert photos & use the same setup. These are nice, but to me a little depressing. Some of the BIFs are a little soft even at f6.3, at ISO 400 a bit grainy & the bokeh with the 1.4 not wonderful. The reason I am depressed is that I don't see how to improve on what you've achieved with Oly gear - 1Dx + 600 f4 (+porter)?

Perhaps it's just my seasonal affective disorder kicking in.
