News for XE-1 and even X-Pro1 shooters...

I wouldn't mind either if it was f2.0. I generally like faster lenses for more DOF control and increased light gathering capability. It just seems though f2.8 is the common aperture for a lot of macro lenses ex: Nikon 105mm f2.8 VR, Tokina 100m f2.8 ATX-PRO, Olympus 60mm f2.8 for m4/3, etc. I was surprised that the Fuji 60mm was f2.4 but I believe that was intentional so it could also function as a portrait lens.
