Anyone planning to migrate to Windows 8 on a desktop or notebook/laptop

I really hated it the first time I tried it 6 months ago, but I loaded it again a few weeks ago and now don't even notice the difference. I do run one of the Windows 7 Start menu programs, and I've changed out all the default Metro programs (such as music, video and picture programs) to avoid the Metro screen

Microsoft has it on sale as a download for 49.00 until the end of Jan. At that price it might be worth buying it even if you don't load it for a while
