While not answering your question I do have some similar images between the SX50 and a Sony A55 with 18-250 Sony lens and of course the aps-c is going to offer a much wider latitude for ISO and F stop check the exif on the following.

Sony @ 27mm

SX50 @ 61mm

Sony @ 270mm

SX50 @ 285mm

all 35mm equivalent as reported by picasa, all images using P or auto mode for both cams.
