that's what I was trying to get at... I dont see any glaring thing in a sensor that requires 90nm or 180nm etc etc... I can see the other chips in the camera sure... but the sensor ??

For bobn.. yes ASML pretty much sets the mark right now.. all our new aligners are ASML, some non-critcal steppers are Nikons.... no Canon aligners, but we do have tools from companies owned by Canon.
