Connecticut Coast

The Stamford Cove is not a local landscape but is not quite iconic either.  I drifted over to the coastline with my D90, Sigma 17-70 os, and Manfrotto tripod hoping to enjoy some low light shots while my daughter practiced her ice skating.  Here are a few from the evening, some hand held and some supported.

Tripod helped get a slow shutter take on a dog doing his business.

This was the first time I tried such slow shutter shots.  I enjoyed including the people who passed through and sometimes became a blur or disappeared entirely.
