Wet cleaning is simple and fast to do.
As long as you have steady hands you should be fine.
I was very nervous the first time I performed a wet clean (on a Canon 20D) but have subsequently cleaned my M9, NEX7 and D600 cameras with no problem.
If in doubt, take it to an expert though.
