Nex 6 battery not very good?

So I was hoping to shoot a longer day but the battery did a poor job.

Im using the la-ea2 adapter, can this drain the battery more?

I'm off to the sony store to buy another one at 90 dollars....

I will have to come up with strategies to prolong battery life.

I plan on just using the evf for a start.

Any other ideas?
