If you want an EXIF reader that shows more info than I have ever seen in any other, take a look at this one:
http://owl.phy.queensu.ca/~phil/exiftool/
It is not terribly elegant but it really pulls out a ton of data including serial numbers of the camera and lens.
Works on both Win or Mac.
Easiest way to use it is to download the appropriate zip file to your desktop and unzip it then rename the extracted file like this:
exiftool2(-k -a -u -g1 -w txt)
Once you have that done, just drag and drop an image file onto the new icon. It will then output a text file with all the EXIF details.
