Widest rectilinear prime for a Canon under $1000 with excellent IQ?

Unfortunately I'm moving house and most of my shots taken with the 14f2.8 Samyang are in storage. Here's a shot from my gallery taken last year. I had absolutely no time to check the settings before getting this photo with my 5DM2. I've recently rediscovered this lens as a walk around for my 500D. It is a good piece of glass. This photo could have been a lot better had I the time but it was starting to rain.
