Super High Resolution Question

Hi all,
Not sure if that's the right forum, but anyway:
A client want me to photograph a large memorial wall - about 5 meters / 200 inches wide (and about 2m/80inch, high).
He wants later to be able to project the photo via an LCD projector, so viewers will be able to read the names on the wall. Names are of course very small...
When I shoot the whole wall, and zoom to 100% - I can't read the names. in a mater of fact - I almost can't see them...
What's the best way to go with this?
Taking a lot of photos of small parts of the wall and stitch them?
any other solution?
Thanks in advance!
