Burning pictures on a MAC

I used iphoto on the mac and just want to burn a standard disk with the picture files. I believe what I did was select the album which I wanted to burn and from the tool bar, I selected share - then burn to disk. Sorry, not in front of my MAC to see exactly what I did but I am pretty sure this is the process I followed.
