a57 pink banding in hockey arena

Has anyone else seen this effect. This image is taken in manual mode,ISO 800,1/400th with auto white balance but the problem persists no matter what white balance i pick.  I have experienced this with video from the camera in just about every hockey arena when I use higher ISO but had not seen it in the pictures untill I got to this arena which is brighter than most and it showed up in all the pictures I took.  I am wondering if this is just sony cameras or just slt's?  The guy next to me had a Nikon D3200 and did not have the same issue.
