Correct, no NEX camera (including the NEX-6) has In-body Image Stabilization (IBIS).

Instead, you get image stabilization via the lenses. Sony brands those lenses OSS, Tamron VCS, etc...

My experience is that OSS works amazingly well. However, IBIS would have been great especially for people who use legacy lenses...so I hope Sony can figure out how to make the worlds smallest IBIS, which fits into one of the smallest flange distances (18mm) in combination with body thicknesses found in any system camera.
