Possible firmware bug 650D/T4i?

Not a problem in Movie mode!

I got a little closer to the origin of this glitch! Not happening always, but happened only when both Live View shoot, and Continuous AF is on for an extended period of time (3-4 minutes) The slow inaccurate, but continuous focus hunting makes the batteries really hot very fast! The auto "off" is stops working too!

Turned Continuous AF off. Don't have any problem since that!

Anyway.. what possible benefit this option may have in Live View?
