guys advice on a travel camera?

Hi all, not sure if correct thread for this, I have been a pro photographer, and wound back a few months ago, choosing to make my living from a different business,easier and more profitable,

I have wreduced my equipment down to just a few essentials, 7d,battery grip,70-200L2.8,10-22 efs,flash 580 ex2,1 set pixel kings,tripod, monopod,loppro bag,thats about it now,

my question is i was considering selling remaining equipment,,aybe $3000 australian worth, and need advice on a really good,light easy compact travel camera, still capable of manual adjustments?shutter speed,apperture etc, that can give me good family/holiday shots  for me .and my family,

7D of course does this, but dont want to lug the heavy bag and the heavy 7D arround.
