D600 and the 200-400 VRI shoot some fighters (Image Heavy)

I was able to shoot some jets with the D600 and my 200-400.  I was very pleased with the focusing and the frame rate(while not as good as my D4) was pretty darned good.  Buffer filled a few times but wasnt terrible.  Overall very pleased with the results and will likely bring the D600 out as a second body more often than the D800.
