I'm very happy with my D300 and don't anticipate changing any time soon, even if the D400 appears. But I would feel more confident of the future of DX if it did, together with a continuation of "pro" quality DX lenses. That's what worries me about the DX future - the flagship pro quality DX lens (17-55mm F2.8) has long gone with no sign of a replacement.
