Hi, I am back home from a two-week vacation in Spain, driving around the Asturia and Galicia provinces, also visiting the city of Ávila and Madrid. This was my first visit to Spain and I liked it very much, just as the other guys.
Situated 1132 meters asl, Ávila is the highest provincial capital in Spain, and is called the most 16th century spanish city. Astonishing buildings and perhaps the most amazing are the Walls of Ávila, that at night become the largest fully illuminated monument in the world.
