Astonishing is the number of readers who commented "ugly" or "bad," or expressed any other negative emotion regarding the looks of this camera. It certainly looks like the car designed by Homer Simpson for his cousin, remember that episode?

Of course we like the increased sensor resolution and the "PASM" dial, but this entire exterior with its bulky sharp lines is really very difficult on our eyes. It contradicts the common sense of beauty, and it clearly contradicts the simplistic "Bauhaus" style of the V1/J1 design.

I think, I will give myself some time to get used to it... Of course the battery issue is highly annoying, Battery-o-Mania Act 7, Scene 14. And there is the price.

No! A clear and decisive "no," I will wait for at least one calendar year before even thinking of buying this camera. I will not again go into this system at such a price level, considering the value plummet of the V1.
