In any case, this proofs that Sony knows they need to work on it, they are not in denial mode...
If they haven't fixed it by now, they are not going to fix it.
Fixing a serious problem more than 1 year after release would be terrible customer service. They'd rather claim it can't be fixed than get asked why it took so long. And when you claim it can't be fixed, better wait until warranty is over for most buyers.
