Camera for my Daughter

olympus epl1 would be great, it takes beautifull images and allows total control. plus you can start building a system with many lenses/accesory.

with time she will understand the limits of the camera and the improovements she need.

in my opinion it's hard to find a compact camera with complete manual controls, maybe the best is the panasonic lx from this point of view. but a compact camera doesn't allow you to learn of to focus correcly

dslr are too big in my opinion....
