Mac antivirus?

So the evidence suggest you aren't in fact protected. That hasn't been true even of MS-based machines for some years

If however you think you are in fact protected and are therefore less careful then you're probably worse off having an AV installed - well, it might encourage careless habits

That's not taking into account the false positives - fair point; some AV is over-protective.

And I'm with mouser, I just don't get the idea of paying money to slow your system down in the remote possibility that you might protect something else - keeps the place cleaner for all; the more malware killed, the less to come round again...mutated to target your system
