How to test a used E-30?

I have a lightly used E-30 on the way, and would like suggestions on what to do in order to make sure everything is in working order. I don't want to come across something not working that I haven't tried in the first weeks or months. So, what do you think, what are the essential tests, other than snap an image in full auto?
