Bear in mind that as suggested above, if you shoot jpegs the camera does adjustments for you,such as sharpening and noise reduction.
With RAW you heve to make such adjustments yourself in your image convertor,though I understand that your camera maker's processing software can carry out default adjustments to process the image "as shot" .if you wish..this then applies the camera settings you used at the time.
