It worked okay.  The AF was the biggest hassle, but I have to wonder if my ND filters had messed with the camera.  I used an OMD primary, GX1 backup with primes mounted.

Nice photos! Were you using ND filters for the outdoor shots so you could use fill flash with wide apertures (or just shoot wide apertures on really sunny days)? How many stops?

That is a limitation. Without lower ISO options or faster sync speeds it can be a challenge to get shallow depth of field with fill flash. I have used my polarizer as an ND filter on the E-M5 without any AF problems, but it's less than a 2-stop loss. And I haven't even used that polarizer enough to say it doesn't have some impact on AF. Could be I just haven't run into it.
