Do X100 files lack the 'soul' of files coming from the X-PRO1?

I have both cameras and would say the images from both have 'soul'.  The X100 as a camera has more soul than the X-Pro 1 and is partially why I couldn't stand to sell it (as I intended) when I puchased the X-Pro1.

I have justified keeping the X100 by calling it my 23mm lens (with a great looking body attached!).

The X100 would be great for your needs IMO.
